Life in a Nutshell

Life has been really full these past few months for us. I really miss communicating with all of my sweet bloggy friends but I knew what I needed to do. I thought I would share a brief nutshell of things that I've been doing:

We had our annual Women's Leader's Retreat. Our theme was Shaped to Serve. God really blessed our time together. I am so thankful for the women in this picture!

My husband and I both think that we totally lost our sanity to agree to getting a puppy at this time. She is the sweetest thing, but potty training is more than we bargained for.
Our sweet girl started Kindergarten this year. She is loving it! She attends an all day Kindergarten which is OK with her. God has blessed her with a wonderful, Christian teacher.

We finally moved into our church building. [sigh...] What a huge blessing it is to have a place we can call home. The process was really fun, but it was a lot of work. We are so amazed at the grace of God blessing us with a great place, and a church body of wonderful servants.

This is our first Sunday in our new building! : ) There was such excitement in the air! : )
I am still praying for the Lord to show me how to balance being a wife (help meet), mommy, and the overseer of many ministries along with my health (it can really slow me down).

I am so incredibly proud of my husband! He is a great teacher of the Word, a loving a supportive husband and an amazing Daddy! I thank the Lord for Him everyday! I am so thankful that the Lord called us into ministry together! We want to be about our Father's business because the time is short!

Y'all have been extremely busy! I understand the strain between real life and the blog world too. I have faced that all summer.

You asked me about our agency earlier. I would recommend them. I haven't been thrilled with every single thing, but I don't have anything to compare it to either. So far they have been helpful. Sometimes it seems the people in the US and the ones in Russia don't communicate, but overall we've been pleased.

So glad you are back! Oh I remember potty training my beagle three years ago not an easy feat, I HIGHLY recommend crate training. No worries though they are much better at six months.

Hey sweets. So good to receive an update on you. Much excitement with you. Maybe too much with the training of your pup...hope he's not too excited if you know what I mean. :-)

What a precious pic of your baby's first day. Such excitement in her face.

Hey, our church has those same chairs in our sanctuary.

Keep it all in check. You don't want to get run down...you'll be of no use then if you are sick and not feeling well.
Love,
paula
